January- Jessi got a boo-boo on her nose. "You got a boo-boo" said Ma Ma,"Do you want me to kiss it?" Jessi pointed to her butt. "You want me to kiss your butt?" asked Ma Ma. Jessi laughed her head off. Then she went and asked everyone else to kiss her butt!
February
"Jessi, I have a question," asked Trisha. No answer. "Jessi, I have a question." Again, no answer. "Jessi, are you paying attention to me?" "No." said Jessi, shaking her head without looking at Trisha.

Jessi's Half Birthday
Jessi loved her half birthday! She helped mix the cake batter on her birthday, decorate it, and lick off the frosting beaters! It was a glutan free cake with cream cheese and honey frosting, sugar free of course, but everyone else liked it anyway. It wasn't exactly a half cake, though- the recipe was new, and big! After licking off the beaters she got tired off frosting and decided it was 'kceee' (her way of saying 'yucky' because she made that sound to spit things out when she was younger) but she liked the made cake anyway. She especially liked singing 'happy half birthday,' and liked singing again on Mommy's birthday. She'd sing afterwards, 'baa baa baaay.'
She can say lots of words, but sometimes she'll copy them, say them a few times, and then stop saying them. Here is a list of some, but she doesn't say all of them frequently, like 'mine'...

Working on a new header....
Time for a change but I just love these words....
The Journey of our spirit baby into our lives. We nicknamed the baby "Jade" because of the beautiful colors of the spirit- purple, pink and green and gold. We named her Jessica, meaning "gift" and Louise, "beautiful vision".

Been a while
Our Jessi is a year and a half now. She had a terrific Christmas time. She learned all about unwrapping gifts. She got a kick out of the Winter Spiral- especially the singing and dancing. She enjoyed decorating the tree, undecorating and redecorating. Christmas Eve she wore the dress I made for Patricia at the same age. Jessi wore it for about 5 minutes- then she wanted it off. But I got a cute photo anyway! She stayed up to midnight on New Year's Eve. LOVED banging the pots and pans before midnight but got scared when we all banged them loudly. I think she thought she was going to play in the snow, too, since we put her boots on, so she cried for that too. She's copying words now, though still not really in to speaking. She "runs" everywhere. She has been crying a lot lately. Teething too. Going backwards a bit on her peeing EC. Not sure why- I think the teething really is throwing her off. I'm trying to be patient but it isn't easy! I'm glad she still has her BMs every time in the potty. But perhaps it's just that she likes to spray and wipe up the pee. She loves to spray! I've stopped asking her to help me. She weighs 22 lbs. I'll have to measure her height. She loves to be held and dance to any song that comes on TV, radio or even if I am just singing in the kitchen. So sweet. The phone rings and she says "Papa". He came to visit so she got to see the face behind the voice. She hadn't seen him in a while. She still says "Papa" when the phone rings. She really likes Taekwon-do. She says "shoo, shooo" to exhale for TKD, kihaps ("sut") in the most adorable way and does lots of kicks. Super cute! She got a TKD doll outfit for Christmas. Santa also brought her a Waldorf doll and a real camera. Other gifts were puzzles, boots, hand decorated shoes from Trisha, little toy skateboard, books, eyeball ball, baby dolls and more. She really likes going out in the snow. She likes to feed icicles to Elvis. "RA-RA" takes her out. (Trisha) Jessi wants to do everything the big kids do. She enjoyed making her half birthday cake. She decorated it all by herself with her favorite...blueberries! She liked liking off the frosting. (cultured cream cheese, butter, and raw honey) She's been eating less lately. Again, I think her teeth are bothering her. She has three coming in at once. Homeopathic camomilla helps. She enjoys taking photos. The photo of Trisha posted here is by Jessi. Pretty good!
