Jessi's first birthday "cake"- bananas (which she finally likes!), blueberries (all time favorite) and nori seaweed spelling her name- a successful car ride in to town couldn't exist without "sushi paper!".

Good morning, beautiful! Happy to be one, happy to be doing number 2!

We had a great day celebrating our little girl's first birthday! She woke up earlier than usual and was so happy- like she knew the day was special! We played for a while until she was ready for a nap. After her nap we gave her some gifts. Trisha had picked out an organic fairy doll- Jessi had loved it at the store and so Trish used her babysitting money to buy it for her. She loved it! The boys and especially Trisha made Jessi a "tag" blanket. She cut off a bunch of tags, lined them up on a cloth and I sewed them on. Jessi loves tags! We also gave her a "woolie". Jessi loves to get cozy!! She's about 30 inches and weighs 19.4 pounds.

I thought this was funny. She kept laughing when I was lifting her up and down. Then I realized the silly shirt I was wearing and took a photo. The rest of the family was at Tae Kwon Do so Jessi and I just played and laughed and took funny pictures. It was great!
